Russian troops attack Kherson: elderly couple, man killed, 9 more injured

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported the information.
"Last night, the Russian army shelled the central part of Kherson. A family was injured when an artillery shell hit a residential building," he wrote.
According to him, an 87-year-old man and his 81-year-old wife died on the spot.
Also, a 54-year-old resident of Kherson sustained explosive trauma, contusion and leg injury, who refused hospitalization after receiving medical aid.
In addition, in the central district of the city, while clearing the rubble, rescuers found the body of a dead man. His identity is being established.
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation in a criminal proceeding over violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, 9 residents were injured, including a 15-year-old child.
Private and apartment buildings, an educational and medical institution, critical infrastructure facilities, and vehicles were damaged. The type of weapon used in the strikes is being established.
