Russian troops attack Kherson, injuring 9 civilians, including 4 children
On the evening of December 20, the Russian army shelled Kherson, injuring 9 people. A mother with 3 children was hospitalized with concussion and explosive injuries
The head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported the information.
At 10:11 pm, he informed that a child and a woman were injured as a result of the attack on Kherson. An educational institution, houses and garages were damaged.
Later he clarified the information: a family was injured at one of the addresses hit by Russian troops: a 28-year-old woman and her 3 daughters aged 2, 4 and 9.
"Kherson is under a massive enemy attack," the head of the regional state administration wrote.
Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, informed that 9 people were wounded in the attack, 4 of them children aged 13, 4, 2 and 10.
"Four injured - a mother with 3 children - were hospitalized. Their condition is moderate. They have contusions and blast trauma. Five injured were provided with medical aid on the spot (1 child and 4 adults). They refused to be hospitalized," he wrote.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said that the attack had destroyed 3 apartment buildings, educational and medical institutions.
Later, the Russian military attacked villages in Kherson district. Fires were extinguished in a private house and a vocational school.

On Monday, December 18, the Russian army shelled Kherson with artillery. A private enterprise was hit, killing a security guard who was at work.
