Deputy of the Kherson Regional Council Serhiy Khlan noted that the foothold of hostilities in the Kherson region is the hottest
He said the statement on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"Russian occupiers have increased shelling near transport routes, near the Antonivskyi bridge, near the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station dam. Russian invaders see the risk of the Ukrainian Armed Forces forcing the Dnipro River in these areas. For more than two weeks, our soldiers have been holding their positions on the left bank," Khlan noted.
According to him, a Russian enemy is striking in the area of summer cottages near Antonivskyi Bridge on the left bank.
"Russian forces trying to push our Armed Forces out of there. There is a bridge over the Konka River in front of Oleshky and the invaders are trying to advance across this bridge. Intense fighting is going on there now. The Russian forces are sending reinforcements there. Currently, the bridgehead near Kherson is the hottest spot," emphasised Khlan.
