Russian tanks captured by Ukrainian soldiers will be delivered to Europe
On the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Europeans will see Russian tanks captured by Ukrainian fighters. On the night of February 22, the trophy vehicles has been sent to 4 EU countries
This was reported by the Ukrainian Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov.
"Last night, 4 Russian tanks 'invaded' the EU and NATO. But, as they say, there is a nuance. Thanks to Ukrainian soldiers," the minister wrote.
It is specified that the trophy vehicles will be seen on February 24 in Germany, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
Reznikov emphasized that Russian tanks can only get to Europe through Ukraine as museum exhibits.
"This should also be a signal to Russia. Europe will see their true face up close. Which used to cause total fear, and now disgust and contempt. More Europeans will be convinced that Russia can and should be defeated on the battlefield," the minister added.
In the summer, the first exhibits were shown in Poland and the Czech Republic.
The Defense Minister also emphasized that in the near future Ukraine will receive the first tanks from its partners with trained Ukrainian crews.
