Russian special services plan terrorist attack on Belarusian nuclear power plant to blame Ukraine, NATO
Russian special services plan false flag attack on Belarusian critical infrastructure facilities, in particular Belarusian nuclear power plant Ostrovets
The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports.
"In the near future, a number of terrorist attacks are planned on the territory of Belarus: artificially provoked man-made disasters at critical infrastructure facilities. The place of alleged "incidents" is territory near the borders of EU countries and Ukraine, in particular, Grodno and Brest regions. One of the main goals - Belarusian nuclear power plant "Ostrovets", the message says.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russian special services are engaged in development and implementation of the "project". Instead, Belarusian special services were simply notified.
Citizens of NATO countries and Ukraine, who will supposedly be disguised in Belarusian military uniforms, are traditionally appointed as responsible for terrorist attacks.
Currently, units of Belarusian special services, Ministry of Internal Affairs, and border troops have already been put on high alert.
"According to developers of "project", all this should speed up involvement of Belarusian army in war in Ukraine on the side of Russian occupying forces. And also create public opinion in Belarusian society, which is necessary for Kremlin", Ukrainian intelligence reports.
