Russia loses 402 troops, 42 pieces of military equipment on southern front

Russia troops focused their main efforts on conducting offensive and assault operations on the Avdiivka, Marinka and Zaporizhzhia directions. They carry out active infantry attacks with the support of armored vehicles and aviation. They also drop guided bombs.
In total, the Russian army carried out 16 air strikes, had 40 combat clashes and fired 906 artillery shells in the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group.
“There is information about an increasing number of Russian soldiers' refusals to participate in assault operations, in particular, in the units of the 1st Army Corps. It should be noted that entire groups of Russian personnel have begun to surrender. I am grateful to our soldiers who are forcing the enemy to do so with their brave and decisive actions,” Tarnavskyi stated.
The general noted that the total losses of the Russian Federation over the past day in the southern front amounted to 402 people. 8 Russian troops surrendered, 42 pieces of military equipment were destroyed. In particular, 2 tanks, 10 armored personnel carriers, 5 artillery systems, 2 MLRS, 17 UAVs and 2 units of special equipment. Another 37 units of Russian equipment were damaged. The pride of their defense industry, the T-90M Proryv (Breakthrough) tank, was among the burned vehicles. Five Russian ammunition depots were destroyed.
