Russian soldiers die in the occupied Ukrainian territories as hospitals are overcrowded and lack doctors
Medical facilities in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine are overloaded and unable to cope with the large number of wounded Russian soldiers
Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar stated it.
"A significant number of them die without having primary medical care, including due to a lack of personnel and lack of necessary medical equipment and drugs," Malyar said.
She added that rooms, where Russian soldiers with minor injuries are kept, are locked with metal bars to prevent desertion.
"Due to large losses of command staff, officers called up from reserve, in particular those of retirement age, are appointed to the positions of tactical units. Their lack of combat experience and incompetence cause mistrust of personnel and fears that their management will lead to even greater losses," she added.
