Russian shelling of Kharkiv region kills 72-year-old man, injures woman
On December 24, invading Russian forces shelled Kharkiv region with a range of artillery, mortars and tanks, killing a 72-year-old man.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported this.
It is noted that during the day of December 24, areas of the settlements of Veterynarne, Kozacha Lopan, Kudiivka, Hoptivka, Strilecha, Krasne, Ternova, Starytsia, Okhirtseve, and Vovchansk, were hit by mortars and artillery.
In the Kupiansk direction, the occupying Russian forces shelled populated areas with tanks, barrel and rocket artillery. Areas of the Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Kupiansk, Kislivka, Tabaivka, Kotliarivka, and Krokhmalne settlements were affected.
In the afternoon, artillery shelling took place in the village of Podoly, Kupian district. A 72-year-old man was killed, his 74-year-old wife was injured, and she was hospitalized.
