Russian shelling of Chaplyne village in Dnipropetrovsk region kills 25 people, search and rescue operation concludes
On August 24, as a result of Russian shelling of a residential sector and a railway station in the village of Chaplyne, Dnipropetrovsk region, 25 people were killed, two of them children.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko reported this on Telegram.
"Dnipropetrovsk region. Rescue and search operations have been completed in the village of Chapline. As a result of the shelling of the residential sector and the railway station, 25 people died, two of them children," he wrote.
An 11-year-old boy died under the rubble of a house, another 6-year-old died in a car fire near the railway station. 31 people were injured.
