Russian S-400 Triumph system destroyed in Crimea - Ukrainian intelligence

Ukrainian intelligence reported the information.
"On August 23, 2023, at about 10:00 a.m., an explosion occurred near the village of Olenivka on Cape Tarkhankut, temporarily occupied Crimea, destroying a Russian S-400 Triumph long-range and medium-range air defense system," the statement said.
According to intelligence, the explosion completely destroyed the system itself, the missiles mounted on it, and its personnel.
Intelligence states that this is a painful blow to Russia’s air defense system, which will have a serious impact on further events in the occupied Crimea.
Earlier, the advisor to the Mariupol mayor, Petro Andriushchenko, reported the information on his Telegram channel.
"The Bastion coastal defense missile system (ASMS) was hit in Crimea. It is one of the carriers of the Oniks missile, which Russian forces use to strike Ukraine. Radar stations were also damaged. There were 7 explosions in total," Andriushchenko wrote.
Earlier, the Krymskyi Viter Telegram channel reported the explosion in Crimea.
Photos published in local Telegram channels show a thick puff of smoke.
Telegram channels reported that at least 7 explosions were heard in the town of Olenivka. There were also reports of a possible strike on Russian electronic warfare devices.
The Russian occupying authorities of Crimea have not yet commented on the situation on the peninsula.
On Wednesday, August 23, the Russian occupying authorities in Donetsk accused Ukraine of massive shelling of the city center. According to the "mayor", a school building was allegedly damaged.
