The head of the city’s occupying administration, Oleksii Kulemzin, reported the information.
"The center of Donetsk is under fire. The border between Voroshylivskyi and Kyivskyi districts is in the risk zone. Eyewitnesses report debris near the Izumrud store," Kulemzin wrote.
According to him, the Ukrainian military allegedly continue to attack the city.
He also said that the shelling of the city’s Voroshylivskyi district reportedly damaged the building of a school.
On the evening of August 22, reports emerged of shots and smoke rising near the Crimean Bridge and Kozacha Bay. Russian representatives stated that this was part of a training exercise, during which they temporarily blocked the bridge.
