Russian propaganda spreads disinformation to justify attacks on Ukraine

This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.  

"Russian propaganda outlets are once again claiming that civilian casualties are supposedly caused by Ukrainian air defense, while insisting the Russian army targets 'only military sites'," the Center reported.

They also noted that propagandists are spreading false claims that rescue workers are allegedly “harvesting organs” from wounded civilians.

“This wave of disinformation is a typical Russian propaganda tactic, aimed at shifting blame and avoiding responsibility for deliberate terrorist attacks and the killing of civilians in Ukraine,” the Center emphasized.

• On the evening of Wednesday, April 23, the Russian army launched attack drones against Ukraine. Overnight into April 24, Russia also fired Kalibr missiles.
