Russian occupiers in Kherson region force schoolchildren to sing Russian anthem, learn Russian laws, history and literature – General Staff

In the temporarily occupied Strilkove, Kherson region, Russian occupiers are forcing children and their parents to learn Russian laws after school and sing the Russian anthem during breaks

This is stated in the General Staff's report of March 7.

"In the village of Strilkove, Genichesk district of the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region, in local primary education institutions, teachers and educators of the so-called occupation authorities force students and parents to stay after school and study the constitution and laws of the Russian Federation, as well as enemy history and literature. During breaks, children are forced to learn and sing the Russian anthem," the statement said.

Ukrainian Armed Forces hit a Russian Buk M1-2 air defense missile system

The Ukrainian Armed Forces aviation carried out 6 strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian personnel and military equipment during the day.

In addition, missile troops and artillery units struck 1 Russian Buk-M1-2 air defense missile system and 3 areas of enemy manpower concentration during the day.

The enemy launched 19 air and one missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine and fired 5 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

The General Staff reports that the Russian enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensives in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions. It continues unsuccessful offensives in the area of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Kamianka, Avdiivka and Mariinka in Donetsk region.

The situation is as follows:

In the northern direction, the operational situation remains unchanged. Over the past day, the enemy fired mortar and artillery shells near 2 settlements in Chernihiv region; 5 settlements in Sumy region; and 10 settlements in Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the enemy is trying to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops. Russian forces conducted unsuccessful offensives in the direction of Hryanikivka, Nevske and Spirne. They fired artillery near 2 villages in Kharkiv region; 4 more – in Luhansk region, as well as 5 villages in Donetsk region.

The enemy continues to advance in the Bakhmut sector. They do not stop storming the city of Bakhmut. Ukrainian defenders repelled attacks near Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka and Bakhmut. 10 settlements in the Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

In the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the direction of 7 settlements. Over 15 localities came under hostile fire, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Vuhledar in Donetsk region among them.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is on the defensive. Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, as well as other 5 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region, Nikopol in Dnipropetrovs'k region, as well as other 8 settlements in Kherson region and the city of Kherson came under fire. In total, over 30 settlements were shelled.
