This was reported by the head of the Luhansk Military Administration, Serhii Gaidai.
"The occupiers gave the population a little more than two months to get a passport of the Russian Federation. Earlier, in the vast majority, it was populism and the wishes of the residents of the region themselves. Now they don't ask whether they want it or not," Gaidai said.
According to him, from January 1, all the payments - salary, social benefits, money transfers - will be made exclusively due to the individual personal account.
"However, in order to open it, you need to have a passport of the Russian Federation. They don't force you directly - they just leave you without money," Gaidai added.
