Russian night attack on Ukraine: Shahed drones target infrastructure in Zhytomyr region and hangar in Cherkasy region 

The local authorities report this.

At about 02:00 at night, the Ukrainian Air Force warned about the possibility of the Russians using ballistic weapons in the eastern regions and Shahed drones in other regions. Later, they warned about a drone attack threat in the western regions. 

Kyiv region

At 02:18, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that air defense was operating in the region.

Serhiy Popko, the head of the Kyiv city military administration, reported that all the approaching Shahed drones were shot down, with no casualties or damage reported. This has been the sixth attack on Kyiv this month. 

There were no confirmed incidents of debris falling in populated areas of the Kyiv region, except for one case where debris caused a small fire in a field.

Poltava region

An enemy drone was shot down, according to the head of the regional military administration, Dmytro Lunin.

Cherkasy region

Three enemy drones attacked, with two aimed at fields and one at an empty farm hangar, as mentioned by the head of Cherkasy regional military administration, Ihor Taburets.

Sumy region

The morning message from the Sumy regional military administration mentioned that a Shahed type UAV was destroyed by the air defense forces over the region during the night.

• On July 24, the enemy targeted Odesa, resulting in damage to 61 buildings, 146 apartments, and at least 28 cultural heritage objects.
