Secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, Anatolii Kurtiev, says that 16 people were injured in a rocket attack on an enterprise in Zaporizhzhia.
"The number of people injured by the rocket attack has already increased to 16 people. 7 of them are in a moderate condition and are currently in hospitals. 9 people received outpatient care. This senseless and cynical shelling is another violation by Russian troops of the laws and customs of war and the terror of civilians. With regards to the details of this shelling incident, appropriate criminal proceedings have already been initiated and a pre-trial investigation has been started," it is noted.
The Prosecutor General's Office started a criminal case and documented 14 victims.
"On July 13, 2022, the military of the aggressor country, the Russian Federation, shelled the infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia. According to preliminary data, 14 people were injured.
A pre-trial investigation into the criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war has been launched," it is noted.
Acting Mayor of Zaporizhzhia, Anatolii Kurtiev, informs that as of 20:00, 12 people were injured.
"Two rockets hit one of the city's enterprises. There is significant destruction. At this time, we know about 12 victims who are already receiving medical care in hospitals. The relevant services are working at the scene. Rescue operations are ongoing," Kurtev wrote.
Citizens are urged not to publish information about the Russian occupiers hitting Zaporizhzhia.

"Two enemy rocket hits were recorded in the regional center. One of the city's enterprises was targeted. The official information will be clarified later," it is noted.
Anatolii Kurtiev adds that there are victims.
"Today, the Russians fired at one of the city's infrastructure facilities in Zaporizhzhia. We know of two airstrikes. The relevant services are now working on the spot. Unfortunately, there are casualties," Kurtev wrote.
Around five o'clock in the evening, the deputy head of the President's Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, informed that as a result of the shelling of Zaporizhzhia, at least 7 people were injured, and the company's employees probably managed to evacuate.
"The enemy targeted the city. One of the enterprises was hit. Previously, 7 people were injured. The head of the enterprise took the employees to shelter, which probably saved their lives," Tymoshenko added.
An air alert was announced throughout the country, and in Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region, the operation of anti-aircraft defense systems was announced.
"Bila Tserkva: anti-aircraft defense is working, do not confuse it with the hitting of missiles," People's Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko wrote on Telegram.
Earlier, Suspilne reported on the explosions in Zaporizhzhia on Telegram.
"Sounds similar to explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia... The city council calls on people to remain calm and stay in shelters," the report says.
