Russian military use force to 'mobilize' Luhansk region residents: men leave or go into hiding
Russia is using force to 'mobilize' men in the Starobil district of the Luhansk region, so they hide or leave under any pretext
Sergiy Gaidai, the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, said this in his Telegram channel.
He noted that in order to avoid general mobilization and negative sentiments in the Russian Federation, the military are accumulating combat power in unconventional ways.
"Forcible mobilization continues, for example, in Starobil district. Men are hiding, some try to leave under any pretext, but the local population receives 'tickets' to the front," noted Sergiy Gaidai.
According to him, the majority of men in the Luhansk region were sure that they would not be 'mobilized' by force.
"But they are dealing with Russians, where they don't ask about wishes and don't look at the state of health - they only need manpower," the regional head emphasized.
