On May 13, Russian soldiers tried to enter Azovstal, the beseiged steel plant in Mariupol, under cover of shelling.

Mariupol Mayor Adviser Petro Andryushchenko wrote about Russian actions in his Telegram channel.

"Mariupol. Azovstal. The Russians are trying to break into the plant under cover of shelling. Almost live during the telethon. The situation is becoming more complicated day by day," he said.
