Russian military in southern Ukraine desert, do not want to fight
Oleksiy Hetman, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, reserve major of the National Guard of Ukraine, notes poor discipline within Russian units
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"Russians still have a large number of people whom they have mobilized and involved in the war. They are trying to attack near Vuhledar, but have not succeeded. The Russian military has gained a foothold on the left bank of the Dnipro River, near Kherson. But there is very poor discipline among the Russian military," emphasized Hetman.
According to the expert, the Russian Guard and the FSB have arrived on the left bank of the Dnipro River to restore order among the military.
"There are soldiers there who fled from the right bank of the Dnipro. The Rosgvardia and the FSB arrived there to restore order. Because many Russians are deserting and do not want to fight. The special services are catching these Russian looters and deserters who are causing disorder. Ukrainian underground fighters are also working on the left bank. I am sure that our subversive groups are there, waiting for a certain command. I am sure that Russians will not be able to hold on to the south for long. It's already warming up, the ground is drying up, and we can expect our offensive," emphasized Hetman.
