Russian Mi-8 destroyed in explosion at airfield in occupied Crimea
In the temporarily occupied Crimea, a Russian attack helicopter was disabled in a blast. The incident occurred at the Kacha airfield near Sevastopol
RBC-Ukraine writes about it, citing intelligence sources.
One of the sources of the publication said that the 318th Separate Mixed Aviation Regiment is stationed at this airfield.
"Another explosion in the temporarily occupied Crimea. As a result of the explosion around 1 am, a military Mi-8 helicopter from the 318th regiment was hit and disabled," the source said.
According to the sources, the occupiers have intensified ‘filtration measures’ in the nearest settlements in connection with the incident.
The Russian officials also opened a criminal case. The occupation authorities of Crimea and Russian information sources have not yet commented on the incident.
