Ukraine's Ministry of Defense wrote about this on Telegram.

“Today, Russian propaganda resources have launched a new informational and psychological operation, namely spreading information about the alleged hacking of the situational awareness system used by Ukraine's Armed Forces,” the message reads.

The Ministry notes that the psychological operation was launched for a reason - the recently updated version of this system was successfully presented at the annual NATO Tide Sprint conference of experts and developers. The governing body notes that the best IT developers and cyber security specialists are working to protect the system. They monitor enemy activity in real time and ask the media not to spread this fake news.

“For the purpose of discrediting the system, the enemy began to attack the system and spread through a network of propaganda resources information about alleged hacking and access to its data. In order to stop the capture of enemy disinformation by domestic information resources, Ukraine's Ministry of Defense reports that the system works stably, the data in it is reliably protected, and unauthorized intrusions are not recorded,” the Ministry of Defense emphasized.

Journalist Yurii Butusov notes that this system is unique and that Russians do not have similar structures. He noted that the special services of the Russian Federation tried several times to penetrate the system through primitive hacking technologies.

“This is a story that demonstrates Ukraine's significant advantage in information technology over the Russian Armed Forces, and the importance of maintaining information security by military and civil servants during war. Without a doubt, this system is one of the best in the world, as the best Ukrainian programmers are modernizing it with the best up-to-date technologies,” Butusov wrote.

  • "By spreading fakes about bioweapons, the Russian Federation is preparing the ground for provocations with it" - Ukraine called on the UN to put pressure on Russia to prevent insidious plans.
