Russian leadership deploys disobedient military personnel in "cannon fodder assaults" — General Staff
Due to their lack of success at the front, Russian troops are increasingly disobeying orders or trying to desert. In response, the Russian military leadership uses troops it considers insubordinate in "cannon fodder assaults"
This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff for June 11
The General Staff explains that the increased frequency of non-compliance with orders, sabotage, unauthorized relationships, and desertion among the Russian mobilized is due to several factors. Firstly, there is no specific law regarding the time limits for completing military service after mobilization in the Russian army. Secondly, the lack of significant achievements on the battlefield and the spread of fearful attitudes about future prospects.
Violators are then assigned to "special companies." These units are then used in high-risk assaults where human lives are not spared, so-called "cannon fodder assaults,” in accordance with the orders of the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation.
