Russian lawmakers complain that Ukraine is inviting NATO to join the war with Russia

"Zelenskyy's statement about Ukraine's application to join NATO in an accelerated manner sounds like an invitation to the Alliance to enter into a direct military conflict with Russia. That is, to enter into confrontation with the leading nuclear powers," Leonid Slutsky complains.
