Russian forces use kindergartens, schools, warehouses as field hospitals - Ukrainian General Staff

In the Donetsk region medical facilities overflow with wounded invaders while in the Luhansk region nearly 600 mobilized soldiers have refused to participate in war. 

"In the temporarily occupied Horlivka of the Donetsk region, all medical facilities are full of wounded invaders," the message said.

Therefore, Russians are using schools, kindergartens and warehouses as field hospitals. It was found that they have brought medics from Yakutia to Svitlodarsk, Donetsk region.

General Staff records cases of refusing to participate in hostilities:

"As of February 3, up to 600 mobilized persons were returned from the Luhansk region to the Russian Federation territory."

Russians launched 61 air strikes across Ukraine in a day

"During the day, the enemy launched 61 attacks from rocket salvo systems, the civilian infrastructure of Kherson suffered the most. The threat of Russian strikes on civilian objects remains throughout Ukraine," the General Staff emphasized.

On February 4, the Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks near 9 settlements in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions

Over the past day, the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the occupying forces near the settlements of Kreminna and Shypylivka in the Luhansk region and Verkhnyokamianske, Blahodatne, Krasna Hora, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.

Ukrainian aviation made 5 strikes on Russian military positions and 2 strikes on anti-aircraft system positions.

Ukrainian defenders hit a Russian command post, 3 areas of personnel concentration, an anti-aircraft missile system and a warehouse.

Russia keeps attempting offensive actions:

"The enemy continues to defend previously captured lines in other directions, shelling the positions of our units and settlements bordering the contact line," the press service said.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

The Russian Federation is concentrating forces in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Novopavlivka directions.

The occupiers shelled 1 settlement of the Chernihiv region; 1 settlement in the Sumy region, as well as 11 settlements in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy shelled the areas of 8 settlements in the Kharkiv region and 2 in the Luhansk region with tanks and artillery.

In the Lyman direction: 6 settlements were shelled in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. 

In the Bakhmut direction, 14 settlements were shelled. 

In the Avdiivka direction, 7 settlements came under enemy fire.

In the Vuhledar direction, the occupiers shelled 6 settlements.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, areas of more than 9 settlements were shelled.
