Russian forces use chemical weapons against Ukrainian units in near Lyman – National Guard officer Doroshenko
National Guard officer Oleksandr Doroshenko has said that the Russian troops are using chemical weapons against the Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in the Lyman direction
He stated this on Espreso.
“From what we know, the enemy is planning to rotate their forces towards us. Our goal is to make this rotation happen faster and with more losses for them. Lately, the enemy has started using poisonous substances on our positions, such as releasing gas of unknown origin in the forest. As a result, we sometimes have to evacuate our servicemen,” he said.
The National Guard officer emphasized that the occupiers are still using aviation to target Ukrainian positions in the Lyman direction.
“They use mortars constantly, 24 hours a day. Their aviation poses the greatest threat to us, as they frequently attack our positions from the Bilohorivka side,” he noted.
