Russian forces turn Severodonetsk into medieval city
The head of the Severodonetsk Military Civil Administration, Oleksandr Striuk, says the city's residents live in difficult conditions without heating and partly without electricity

“The situation in the city is quite complicated. Severodonetsk is actually without heating. Electricity is partially present. These capacities are only enough to light part of the city. In general, the living conditions of most of the residents are similar to those of the Middle Ages,” Striuk said.
The head of the Severodonetsk Military Civil Administration added that it is very difficult to leave the city.
“More than 7,000-8,000 people continue to remain in the city. There are isolated attempts to leave Severodonetsk. However, it is quite difficult to do so. The only way to leave the city occupied by the Russian forces is through the Russian Federation and the Baltic countries,” he added.
