Russian forces storm Ukrainian positions in small groups in Vuhledar direction
Nazarii Kishak, commander with the machine gun platoon of the 72nd Detached Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians, says invading Russian forces are systematically trying to regroup and take tactical actions
He said this on Espreso TV.
“The situation in the Vuhledar direction has not changed much. The enemy is systematically trying to get into our positions and make some regroupings and tactical actions. The Russian forces also attempted to storm our positions in small groups,” the commander with the machine gun platoon of the 72nd Detached Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians said.
Nazarii Kishak noted that the Ukrainian battalions are standing bravely and preventing the loss of territory.
“The enemy is firing rockets and artillery, both from MLRS and cannon artillery, at the settlements near Vuhledar. Kurakhove is also under attack. We understand that the enemy has forces, because they are systematically replacing, bringing in food and ammunition. I would like to note that the Russian troops suffered very heavy losses in this area, but they still have equipment that systematically shells positions in our direction,” Nazarii Kishak commented.
