Russian forces storm Lysychansk oil refinery area, attack near Verkhnokamyanka - Ukrainian General Staff 

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared its report.

In the Slovyansk direction (Donetsk region - Ed.), Russian forces regroup troops and defend themselves. They fired artillery of various calibers in the areas of Mazanivka, Dibrivna and Krasnopillya.

In the Donetsk direction, Russia, with the support of artillery, tries to block Lysychansk and take control of the section of the Lysychansk-Bakhmut highway. Russian forces fired on civilian infrastructure in the areas of Lysychansk, Verkhnokamyanka and Siversk. They launched an air strike near Vovchoyarivka. They are advancing near Verkhnokamyanka and storming the Lysychansk oil refinery, and fighting continues.

In the Kramatorsk direction (Donetsk region - Ed.), Russia did not conduct active hostilities, firing at Ukrainian positions with artillery.

In the Bakhmut direction (Donetsk region - Ed.), shelling near Berestove, Pokrovske and Zvanivka and an air strike near Pokrovske were recorded. Ukrainian soldiers stopped the offensive and inflicted significant losses on Russian forces in the areas of Klynove and Novoluhanske settlements, as well as repulsed the assault in the Vuhlehirska TPP direction. In both cases, Russian forces retreated.

In the Avdiyivka, Kurakhove, Novopavliv and Zaporizhzhya directions, Russia fired on Vodyany, Avdiyivka, Marinka, Vugledar, Poltavka, Novoukrainsky, Novosilka and Orikhove areas. Russian forces struck air strikes on Ukrainian positions near Avdiyivka and Shcherbakiv. They tried to carry out assault operations in the Pavlivka area, but were unsuccessful, and retreated.

In the Southern Bug direction (southwest Ukraine - Ed.), Russia continues to systematically fire on civilian and military infrastructure and regroup troops. Russian forces launched missile and air strikes in Knyazivka, Potemkine and Bereznehuvate areas. They conducted air reconnaissance. The threat of missile strikes on the region's critical infrastructure remains.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russia continues to defend previously occupied positions. Russian forces fired from tanks, mortars, artillery and aircraft on Kharkiv, Pytomnyk, Ukrainka, Peremoha, Dementiyivka, Prudyanka, Korobochkyne and Rubizhne settlements.

Ukrainian defenders suppressed an attempt at hostile assault operations near Dementievka village. Russian forces retreated. Air strikes were carried out near Prudyanka and Verkhny Saltov.

In the Volhynia and Polissya areas (northwest Ukraine - Ed.), units of the Belarusian Armed Forces continue to be located in the border areas of Brest and Gomel regions.

According to the available information, military commissariats of the specified areas study possibilities of carrying out hidden mobilization of the population.

Two Russian Caliber sea-based cruise missiles carriers are ready for the use of missile weapons in the Black Sea.
