The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko, reported this.
According to him, on the evening of November 5, the Russian forces hit the Myrivske community in the Nikopol district with heavy artillery. As a result of the shelling, a residential building was damaged by a shell, and a 9-year-old girl was injured. She is now in the hospital.
Subsequently, Reznichenko reported that the girl was under medical supervision.
“There is no threat to her life. Doctors assess her condition as average. The child is very frightened by the shelling and injuries,” the head of the Regional State Administration added.
During the night, the occupying Russian forces shelled the area 8 times and hit the Nikopol, Marhansets and Myrivske communities.
“Peaceful towns and villages were shelled with anti-aircraft missiles and heavy artillery. Half a dozen private houses, farm buildings, cars and gas pumps were mutilated in the Myrivske community,” he writes. “In Nikopol itself, shells hit several buildings - high-rise and private. Furniture production, a transport company, gas pipelines, as well as power lines were damaged.”
