On the night of August 25, Russian forces shelled Kryvyi Rih with cluster shells fired from a Tornado-S multiple-launch rocket system.

Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the military administration of Kryvyi Rih, announced this.
"Kryvyi Rih. Several arrivals of the Tornado-S anti-aircraft missile system (operational range up to 120 kilometers) in the Metallurgical district by cluster bombs. The consequences are being clarified. All services are working. We look very carefully under our feet - there may be unexploded ammunition. If detected - immediately call 101 and 102," Vilkul wrote.
