Russian forces shell Kherson region 71 times, killing 16 people, including State Emergency Service employees 

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Yaroslav Yanushevych, reported this. 

On December 24, the Russian military launched 71 shellings of the Kherson region. The area was attacked by artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and mortars.

The Russian forces shelled Kherson 41 times, hitting private and apartment buildings, medical facilities, as well as private premises. 

As a result of shelling in the center of Kherson, civilians were killed.

“The Russian army killed 16 people in the Kherson region last night, including 3 employees of Ukraine's State Emergency Service, who were killed during demining operations in the Beryslav district. Another 64 people were injured of varying degrees of severity,” the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration emphasized.

• On December 24, the Russian military attacked the center of Kherson. In the evening the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that 10 people were killed as a result of the attack, and 68 more were injured.
