Invading Russian forces have shelled the border areas in the Sumy region, damaging a school, a kindergarten, a village council, and a water tower

This is reported by Ukraine's State Border Service.
It was noted there that the Russian enemy inflicted fire damage with the use of mortars, rocket and barrel artillery.
“Six communities came under enemy fire. As a result of shelling in one of the settlements, a school, a kindergarten, a village council, a water tower, a monument, 2 residential buildings, as well as a power line were damaged,” the message says.
Among the injured is a 68-year-old woman who received shrapnel wounds and is in the hospital.
Shelling was conducted from the side of the settlements: Hrudske, Nekislytsia, Tootkino, Anatoliivka, Nikolaevo-Darine, and Sverdlikove.

Electricity will be turned off without warning during the day in the Sumy region.
