AFU respond to Russia's deployment of Kalibr missile launchers to Sea of Azov
As of May 15, there are 6 Russian ships currently on combat duty in the Black Sea, but none of them are missile carriers. The Russian Federation has directed them to their designated base points
This was reported by the press service of Ukraine’s Navy.
In the Sea of Azov, there are two enemy ships, with one of them being a missile carrier capable of carrying 8 Kalibr missiles.
Meanwhile, in the Mediterranean Sea, five Russian ships, including one missile carrier, have been observed. The combined salvo of these vessels amounts to up to 4 Kalibr missiles.
The Operational Command South's press center commented on the situation in the Azov and Black Seas.
“For the first time since the full-scale invasion, a small missile ship with eight more Kalibr missiles entered the Sea of Azov to perform tasks, where it continues to be on duty, presumably as another element of providing cover and protection for the Crimean bridge,” the command suggests.
