Russian forces move newly-modified tanks through Mariupol to Vuhledar direction
Petro Andriushchenko, advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, says that invading Russian forces are using the city and the district as a logistics base
He said this on Espreso TV.
“Over the past three days we have been recording the movement of a large number of enemy vehicles, ammunition and military personnel. They are traveling through Mariupol both day and night. Mobile communications are being cut off in the city for security reasons,” emphasized Andriushchenko.
According to him, the enemy is moving T-80 and T-72 tanks through Mariupol to the Vuhledar direction.
“The enemy is no longer bringing in junk, we see tanks of the latest T-80 and T-72 modifications. Two days ago, at least 14 such tanks were transported through the city. The next day we saw about 10 such tanks. There was also a lot of movement at night. Most likely, the enemy is moving this equipment to the Vuhledar direction,” noted Andriushchenko.
