Russian forces may soon make another 'goodwill gesture' – Humeniuk, OC South
The Defense Forces continue to put pressure on the Russian troops in southern Ukraine. It is possible that the Russian army will soon make another 'gesture of goodwill', that is retreat
Operational Command South's press center head Natalia Humeniuk reported this on June 30.
Commenting on the anniversary of the liberation of Zmiinyi Island, she predicted a new 'gesture of goodwill.' This is what the Russians once called their shameful escape from the island.
“Each such 'gesture of goodwill' that the Russians have demonstrated repeatedly during the full-scale invasion took place under strong pressure from the Defense Forces. In particular, in the south. We are continuing to exert strong pressure, so we should expect 'gestures of goodwill.' If they delay it, we will catch up,” the spokeswoman said.
At the same time, Humeniuk cannot give any predictions about the liberation of Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
“It is likely that the withdrawal of troops could be a provocation, so we are closely monitoring and responding adequately,” she said.
