Russian forces hit residential area of Kostyantynivka in Donetsk region with S-300 missile, at least three people killed
On January 28, the Russian military launched a missile attack on a residential area in the town of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region, killing at least three civilians and wounding two others
Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
"Three civilians were killed and at least two wounded in a rocket attack by occupying Russian forces on Kostyantynivka this morning. The Russian invaders fired at a residential area, damaging four high-rise buildings, a hotel, garages and civilian cars," Kyrylenko wrote.
The National Police later added that, according to preliminary data, Russian troops hit the residential sector with an S-300 missile. The occupiers attacked the town at around 9:15 a.m. They struck the town center, there were many people there at that time.
As a result of the attack, men aged 33 and 36 and a 70-year-old woman, an IDP from Bakhmut, were killed.
The Prosecutor General's Office noted that six people sustained injuries of varying severity. They have been taken to a hospital where they are being provided with qualified medical care.
