Since the beginning of the day, on September 21, Russian troops have launched 5 missile and 11 airstrikes, as well as 17 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems, affecting over 30 Ukrainian settlements

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

"The adversary continues to focus its efforts on attempts to fully occupy the Donetsk region, organize defense and hold the captured territories, and also tries to disrupt the active actions of the Defense Forces in certain directions. It fires at the positions of our troops along the contact line, regroups its troops, and constantly conducts aerial reconnaissance."  - they write in the General Staff

Over the course of a day, Russian enemy launched 5 missile and 11 air strikes, carried out 17 shellings from MLRS on military and civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine, violating the norms of International Humanitarian Law, the laws and customs of warfare.

The infrastructure of more than 30 settlements was damaged.  We are talking about Kharkiv, Sloviansk, Pechenegy, Pokrovsk, Poltavka, Belogorivka, Nevelske, Maryinka, Myrolyubivka and Visokopillya.

The enemy is also shelling tanks, mortars and artillery along the entire front line.

Siversky direction:

There were strikes by the Russian Federation in the areas of Zalizniy Myst and Huta-Studenetska settlements in Chernihiv region and Manukhivka, Bachivsk, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Volfine, Golyshivske and Turya in Sumy region.

Slobozhan direction:

In the areas of Hrushivka, Kupyansk, Veterinarne, Hoptivka and Hlyboke settlements.

Kramatorsk direction:

The following settlements were affected: Yarova, Studenok, Tetyanivka, Bogorodichne, Raihorodok, Zakitne and Ozerne.

Bakhmut direction:

Soledar, Bakhmutske, Rozdolivka, Klishchivka, Krasnopolivka, Zvanivka, Yuryivka and New York.

Avdiyivskyi direction

Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Opytne, Maryinka, Vodyane and Pervomaiske.

"About 25 settlements were hit by tanks, mortars, and barrel artillery in the Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhya directions. In particular, Vugledar, Zolota Niva, Gulyaipole, Rivnopillia, and Zelene Pole," the General Staff added.

South Buz direction:

More than 35 settlements along the contact line were damaged by fire.  For reconnaissance and adjustment of fire, the Russians made more than 60 UAV sorties.

At least 6 drones were used to launch strikes against civilian infrastructure.
