Russian forces fire across the whole territory of Luhansk region, liberated by Ukraine's Armed Forces - Serhii Haidai

He said this on Espreso TV. 

"The occupying Russian forces are shelling with tanks and artillery the territory of Luhansk region, which was liberated by Ukraine's Armed Forces. The Russian military is resupplying the troops with newly mobilized soldiers and building a defense line. Along the entire frontline in the Luhansk region, they are placing concrete cubes, digging trenches, that is, they are preparing for a long defense," Haidai noted.

According to him, Russian barrage detachments or anti-retreat forces are operating in the Luhansk region.

"Mobilized soldiers understand: as soon as they start fleeing, they will be killed by their own troops. There is an assumption that the mobilized are under the influence of promedol (ed. - a narcotic anaesthetic). They are in euphoria and do not feel pain. There are many testimonies from our military that a platoon of 20 soldiers is advancing, they are fired on with a machine gun, they fall, not 20, but 15 soldiers get up, and they are still going forward," Haidai added.
