Russian forces fire 269 shells at Kherson region damaging houses, injuring people

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, wrote about this on Telegram. 

“The enemy made 53 attacks over the last day, launching 269 shells from heavy artillery and Grad multiple rocket launchers,” he noted.

For example, 17 shells during 5 attacks were aimed at residential areas of Kherson: private and apartment buildings were damaged.

Two civilians were wounded in the shelling over the last day.

• According to the General Staff, the Russian army launched 11 missile strikes and 16 airstrikes against Ukraine over the past day, including on the civilian infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia.
