Russian forces deploy 'Z assault units' formed of ex-convicts to Marinka direction
Oleksii Dmytrashkivskyi, spokesman for the Tavriisk Defense Forces' Joint Press Center, says that the invading Russian troops are deploying new units formed of persons with criminal records to the Marinka sector
He said this on Espreso TV.
“I can inform you that the occupying forces have withdrawn 2 units of air assault troops from the Marinka direction, which suffered heavy losses in the area. Instead, they are deploying so-called ‘Z assault units’ to this area. These units were formed from persons with previous criminal records. Now we can clearly understand the reason for the conflict between Prigozhin and Shoigu. Because Shoigu deprived Prigozhin of the opportunity to form his units with convicts, as he did before,” Dmytrashkivskyi explained.
