Russian forces deploy 300 troops,15 boats stolen from locals on Dzharylhach. Frontline situation 

This is stated in the report of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ General Staff on 25 May.

According to the General Staff, the Russian occupiers deployed about 300 Russian servicemen and 15 foreign-made boats on the island, which they stole from local residents.

Defence forces destroyed 2 Russian enemy concentration areas, an ammunition depot and a radar station

Over the course of the day, the Defence Forces' aviation carried out four strikes on areas where enemy personnel and military equipment were concentrated. Missile and artillery units struck two areas of manpower concentration, an ammunition depot, a radar station and an enemy artillery unit at firing positions.

Russian forces unleash another massive strike against Ukraine, launching 48 air strikes and firing about a dozen MLRS attacks

On the night of 25 May, the Russian Federation launched another massive attack on the territory of Ukraine, using Iranian Shahed-136/131 strike drones. All 36 drones were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.

In total, during the day, the enemy launched 2 missile strikes from S-300 air defence systems at the civilian infrastructure of the village of Tsyrkuny in Kharkiv region, damaging a private house. In addition, the enemy carried out 48 air strikes and fired about 10 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

The General Staff emphasises that the threat of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

Situation in other Ukrainian regions subjected to Russian attacks

The enemy is focusing its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. A total of 17 combat engagements took place in these areas of the frontline yesterday.

The situation in the northern sectors remained unchanged, with no signs of offensive groups forming. The Russian enemy maintains a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine.

During the day, the Russian forces fired a series of mortar and artillery attacks on 2 settlements in the Chernihiv region; 4 settlements in the Sumy region, as well as 9 settlements in the Kharkiv region.

• In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy continues to try to improve its tactical position. Air strikes were carried out on 2 settlements  in the Kharkiv region. During the day, offensive actions in the vicinity of Masiutivka were unsuccessful. The populated areas of 7 settlements in Kharkiv region and 2 settlements in Luhansk region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
• In the Lyman direction, the Russian troops made unsuccessful attacks in the area of Bilohorivka over the last day. Russian forces carried out air strikes near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Ivano-Daryivka in the Donetsk region. 4 settlements in the Luhansk region and 4 settlements in Donetsk region came under shelling.
• In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy kept attacking in the area of Bakhmut over the last day. 13 localities in the Donetsk region suffered from Russian shelling. 
• In the Avdiivka direction, Russian forces unleashed unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Krasnohorivka. Russia carried out air strikes in the area of Avdiivka. Enemy forces shelled 3 settlements in the Donetsk region.
• In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defence forces repelled numerous attacks near Marinka. The Russian enemy launched air strikes on Marinka, and also shelled Marinka and Pobeda in the Donetsk region with artillery.
• In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy attacked Vuhledar and Prechystivka. 
• In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian forces continue to be on the defensive. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of 3 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region and 1 settlement in Kherson region. In addition, 12 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region; 10 settlements in Kherson region and the city of Kherson were shelled.
