Russian forces damage Kakhovka HPP, reservoir is shallow – Dnipropetrovsk regional governor
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, said that the reservoir was damaged by the Russian forces and that all efforts are being made to maintain the water level in the Kakhovka Sea
He said this at a meeting with community leaders, heads of district administrations and representatives of water utilities in Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts.
He noted that maintaining the water level in the sea is "critically important for the residents of Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts."
"We have jointly found technical solutions. We are currently developing design and estimate documentation. In particular, we took into account the modernization of equipment. We want it to work smoothly under martial law and consume less electricity. It could also be used in peacetime. After our victory," noted Lysak.
