Russian forces bomb Kherson and region, destroying cafe

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said that the Russian troops attacked a residential area of Kherson with a missile at about 4:40 p.m. A café was completely destroyed.

"Russian forces also dropped two guided aerial bombs on Beryslav and Olhivka. Information on destruction and casualties is being clarified," added Prokudin.

Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration, reported the Russian attack.

"The Russian army bombed Kherson from the air. The damage was recorded in the Dniprovskyi district," he wrote.

Information about the victims and damage is being clarified.

Earlier, the ISW noted an increase in Russian aviation activity in the Kharkiv, Luhansk and Kherson regions.
