Russian forces block Kherson residents' movement across Dnipro River to organize military regrouping - Humeniuk, OC South
Russian forces continue to set up defense lines along Kherson, Operational Command South's press center head Natalia Humeniuk says
She said this on Espreso TV.
“The Russian forces realize that they will not be able to hold the right bank of the Dnipro and are convincing the population to evacuate. The locals do not give in to these provocations, so the Russian troops blocked the movement of Kherson residents across the Dnipro River in order to organize military movements from the right bank to the left bank and to set up a more powerful defense there,” Humeniuk noted.
According to the Operational Command South's press center head, there are many Russian soldiers in Kherson who are dressed in civilian clothes.
“The defense borders of the Kherson region are fortified by the enemy and filled with so-called newly mobilized soldiers, but we also know about their desire to replenish the exchange fund,” Humeniuk noted.
