Invading Russian forces attacked the border of the Sumy region 33 times during the day on June 18, killing and injuring civilians
The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this.
“During the day, Russians fired 33 times at the border. 223 explosions were registered,” the administration reported, adding that 12 communities in the region were attacked.
Seredyna-Buda community: Russian troops launched 6 artillery attacks, 5 mortar attacks, 3 attacks with AGS grenade launchers, as well as 12 MLRS attacks.
Velyka Pysarivka community: invading Russian forces launched 20 artillery attacks. Two civilian women were injured during one of the shelling. One of them was taken to a medical facility with a shrapnel wound to the shoulder, and the other was treated on the spot. In addition, two private residential buildings were damaged as a result of the shelling. Attacks with mortars and AGS grenade launchers were also registered.
Bilopillia community: Russian shelling damaged an apartment building and outbuildings, a car and a TV tower. Two people were killed - a father and son. In addition, mortar shelling was carried out, resulting in 26 explosions.
Vorozhba community: Russia launched an artillery attack. Two apartment buildings were damaged as a result of one of the shelling.
Khotin community: the Russian enemy dropped 12 mines on the community.
Myropillia community: F-1 grenades were dropped from an enemy UAV, resulting in three explosions.
Hlukhiv community: Russians launched a mortar attack that resulted in 13 explosions. One of them damaged a transformer substation and a workshop of an enterprise. Another shelling also damaged two apartment buildings, a garage, a gas pipe for domestic gas supply, a power line and a car. In addition, shelling with cannon artillery was also recorded, which resulted in 15 explosions.
Novoslobidske community: the Russian troops dropped 5 mines on the territory of the community.
