Russian forces are increasingly using 'meat assaults' in Avdiivka sector
Vitaliy Barabash, head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration, says that Russia is pressing along the entire defense line around Avdiivka
He said this on Espreso TV.
"The situation remains hot in the Avdiivka sector. The Russian forces are pressing along the entire defense line around the city. Russians are using many infantry groups. Weather conditions are currently preventing the invaders from using equipment, so they are increasingly using so-called 'meat assaults', throwing more and more personnel into the battle. But the Russians are failing on the front line, so the enemy compensates for these failures by shelling Ukrainian positions on the defense line and in the city," emphasized Barabash.
The head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration added that logistics are difficult in the Avdiivka sector.
"The invading forces are hitting the road with FPV drones, and this makes our logistics very difficult. Despite the reserves we have in the city, food, medicine and hygiene, we realize that we need to replenish them. Because it will only get more difficult," said Barabash.
