"Kyiv region! There is a threat of an enemy drone attack. We urge residents to stay in safe places until the all-clear signal. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones!" the statement of the Kyiv Regional State Administration reads.

At 5:40 am, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko, said that about 8 drones were shot down on the approach to the capital.

"The capital of Ukraine has been subjected to another air attack by the enemy. According to preliminary information, the Muscovite aggressor probably used a new batch of Iranian-made Shahed drones. About 8 enemy targets were detected and shot down on the approach to the capital. At the moment, there were no casualties or damage. The information is being updated," Popko said.
