At 5:40 am, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko, said that about 8 drones were shot down on the approach to the capital.
"The capital of Ukraine has been subjected to another air attack by the enemy. According to preliminary information, the Muscovite aggressor probably used a new batch of Iranian-made Shahed drones. About 8 enemy targets were detected and shot down on the approach to the capital. At the moment, there were no casualties or damage. The information is being updated," Popko said.
On the evening of April 19, Kyiv residents observed a flash and the moment an unknown object fell to Earth. The city authorities said that the details would be clarified by experts.
