Russian disinfo review: 'Ukrainian Armed Forces set fire to grain fields, left strains of dangerous viruses in biolaboratories in Severodonetsk and Rubizhne'
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of fake stories Russian propaganda produced on the morning of July 19.
The Center for Countering Disinformation shared the news.
According to the Center at the National Security and Defense Council, as of the morning of July 19, Russian launched three major disinfo campaigns.
Manipulation: The Russian Defense Ministry stated that "neo-Nazis have placed artillery on the territory of a granary in the village of Kalynivka, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region, and are systematically firing from them at the positions of the Russian Armed Forces, provoking the latter to return fire (to lower the granary)."
Disinformation: According to one of the 'leaders' of the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region, "strains of dangerous viruses and other dangerous drugs, not registered with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, which were produced on an industrial scale, were discovered in biolaboratories left by Ukrainian troops in the cities of Rubizhne and Severodonetsk."
Disinformation: The Russian Defense Ministry stated: "in the Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Kherson regions, the servicemen of the Armed Forces together with the fighters of the nationalist battalions are purposely setting fire to fields with grain crops using helicopters and artillery."
