
Russian ballistic missile strike on Odesa port kills 4 Syrian sailors, injures several

Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister for Restoration and Minister for Communities and Territories Development, Oleksiy Kuleba, reported the information.
According to him, Russia launched a ballistic missile strike on the port infrastructure of Odesa, where the civilian vessel MJ PINA, flying the flag of Barbados, was docked.
As a result of the Russian attack, four people were killed—all Syrian citizens. The youngest was 18 years old, and the oldest was 24. Two others, one Ukrainian and one Syrian, were injured and are receiving the necessary medical assistance.
“At the moment of the strike, the vessel was being loaded with wheat for export to Algeria. It was a completely civilian ship. Another vessel was also damaged, along with the piers and grain storage warehouses,” the minister said.
- During the night and morning of Wednesday, March 12, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with strike drones and a ballistic missile. Kharkiv, Dnipro, Kyiv region, Sumy, and Kryvyi Rih came under attack.
